What I learned from a Marilyn Monroe movie this week

Parable and metaphor help. I watched the movie, “My Week with Marilyn” the other night. Sure, it is fiction, but it illustrates some great points. One lesson that came through as I watched was how bad we can be at judging ourselves. I don’t mean the putting ourselves down kind of judging, though that is true too. But I mean how inaccurate our calibration can be, how we are an unreliable source of accuracy about ourselves.
