As I have been getting back to more my old self than I’ve been in a while I find there is to “back” – only forward, for which I am very grateful!
Body does like to go “back” to what is has known, what has been normal in the past, and often people call this the “2 steps back,” of the old “one step forward, two steps back,” but you know, that’s just the dance – the Getting Free Cha-Cha-Cha dance with your own higher self, the Universe and Everything.
You have written to me, or brought this up in sessions, that you’re having a hard time with how intense everything is, or how fast (or slow!) the changes are: how you’d much easier it seems to take a nap than get clear, but then you immediately follow that with how once you can move the tiredness aside, you can feel some excitement; an excitement that you can’t explain or name, but it’s there.
And you’ve heard me laugh at that, saying how much sense that makes.
You know, what’s really going on is we’ve gone Live.
Even here in the US, blanketed with the thick fogs of fear, loathing, invalidation and nihilism, everyone is waking up, whether they want to or not, and going live.
It is as if everyone had been living in a Memorex loop of the same-old-same-old, and the media joining in in the cultural lie of
“this is all there is and all there ever will be and the best is behind us. Nothing new is left to be discovered and most of what we’ve discovered in the past is not real, or valuable and let’s just forget anything that reminds us that all life is amazing and just be triggered back into the malaise of no confidence in ourselves or anyone else except the existing big businesses that just need to grow and they will take care of us, because they are everything and we are nothing and it’s all too much to be bothered with anyway.”
But life is not the same-old-same-old anymore, even for those who are stubbornly determined to pretend it is.
Everyone got so used to being in re-runs, it’s hard to remember how to live LIVE again, but it is being required of us, more and more everyday.
Being consciously aware of what you are thinking and feeling, helps.
The sensations in your body are not simply random, unrelated aches, pains or twinges. Your body is not mechanical, or dead and unrelated to you.
Once you clear out the information, energies and emotions of other people out of your space, all those twinges, aches, pains as well as all your emotions, start to make a whole lot of sense, and turn out to be the best navigational feedback you could ever ask for.
Once you have the experience of the relief of release, and the rush of your own vitality, awareness and brilliance that comes from going into you pain, not away from it, you get to where you welcome the information and feedback your body is offering, for the empowered joy on the other side.
I am developing a new program that I am so excited about. I’ll be unveiling it in the near future. In the meantime, be good to you. Be On Your Side. Embrace instead of judging your Self. Ask yourself every day – are you doing your best? If the answer is no, get yourself in gear and do your damn best, and be proud of yourself for that. If your answer is yes, you are doing your best, give yourself a gold start and a treat, like going for a walk in the woods. Something that actually restores you, and be proud of you. Every day.
